Here is exactly what Podium League does — and does not — do with your information and brokerage access.
What we collect
Podium League stores your email address, date of birth (for age verification only), username, and your portfolio's daily percentage return. We do not store dollar amounts, account balances, account numbers, bank details, or any personally identifiable financial information beyond return percentages.
How we connect to your brokerage
Brokerage connections are powered by SnapTrade, a regulated third-party financial data aggregator. When you connect a brokerage, you authenticate directly with that brokerage — Podium League never sees your brokerage username or password. SnapTrade facilitates the OAuth handshake and provides us with read-only access to your portfolio data.
Read-only access — what that means
The connection established through SnapTrade is strictly read-only at the API level. This is not a policy — it is a technical constraint enforced by the brokerage's OAuth implementation. Podium League cannot place trades, move funds, withdraw money, or make any changes whatsoever to your brokerage account.
SnapTrade's role
SnapTrade (snaptrade.com) is the third-party service that manages brokerage OAuth tokens on our behalf. SnapTrade holds encrypted OAuth credentials in compliance with financial industry standards. Podium League does not have direct access to your brokerage OAuth tokens — they are held and managed by SnapTrade under their own security and privacy policies.
What we do not store
Podium League never stores account numbers, banking information, brokerage credentials, or OAuth tokens. Those live on SnapTrade's and your brokerage's systems, not ours. The data Podium League holds is limited to email addresses, usernames, and historical return percentages.
Data retention and deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your profile, portfolio snapshots, and league history are permanently removed from our systems. Disconnecting a brokerage from the Accounts page immediately revokes our read access.

Podium League is a competition platform. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of any kind. All leaderboard data, return percentages, and rankings are for competitive and informational purposes only. Past performance does not predict future results.
Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Podium League does not sell your personal information. We have never sold it, we are not selling it, and we do not have plans to sell it. This page is here because California law (CCPA / CPRA) requires every consumer-facing site to display a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" notice even when no sale is happening. If our practice ever changes, we will update this notice and provide an opt-out mechanism before any sale occurs.
